US Embassy Warns France Amid Violent Protests

The US Embassy and consulates have issued a warning to Americans in France about student protests, which, they say, have become violent.

The American Embassy in France published an announcement, advising Americans to avoid areas where demonstrations are taking place, plan alternative routes, and attend updates by local police and media, writes Foreign mediaHe’s following in on Telegrafie.

This warning comes as France is involved in student protests due to lack of teachers, poor school conditions and reportings on mouse presence in classrooms.

More than 5,000 people have been arrested and 600 police officers have been injured during the move, which Paris police say is being dominated by violence.

Student organisations are calling for a day of nationwide protest on 6 October, according to the US Embassy, which means the situation can escalate this week. /Telegraph/
