One day’s work has become a tragedy for a family in Drenas. A 47-year-old has lost his life after he suffered serious injuries during his work at the company Prisma-Fixu, in the village of Upper Corrotica. He has been sent with urgency for medical assistance, but only a few minutes later has his death been recorded.
Signal sources suggest the victim is Raif Aliu about 47 years old, who lost his life on Tuesday, October 20, 2026, under circumstances currently subject to police investigations and labour Inspectorate.
At around 16:01, police have been notified by the Family Medicine Centre in Komoran that Ali was brought in for serious health treatment, following injuries suffered at the workplace.
Just 27 minutes later, at 16:28 a.m., the caregiver recorded his death.
According to information provided by the signal, the fatal incident has occurred in the premises of the company Pharama-Fax, in Upper Corrotica, while the way the worker has suffered injuries has not yet been clarified.
Shortly after the report, police units, investigators and Labour Inspector have emerged at the scene, while the case has also been addressed by the Regional Investigation Unit.
Investigations are focused on clarifying the circumstances of the incident and verifying respect for security measures at the workplace.

The State Prosecutor has consulted the event, while around 6:20 p.m. Raif Ali’s lifeless body has been sent to the Institute of Legal Medicine for Obligation.
