In Netflix’s new documentary, The One About Matthew Perry, his sister, Mia Perry Bowick, recalls the difficult moments of last farewell, but also a special moment that made her laugh in the middle of pain.
She related that while she was at the funeral, she felt that her brother was there and was giving her a typical comment about his mood.

The documentary director, Mary Robertson, described the sister’s confession as emotional and difficult, but stressed that laughter during a funeral does not diminish the pain of loss.
Rather, she felt that this moment reflected the mood and personality that was marked by Matthew Perry.

Mia also recalled meeting her brother’s colleagues from the famous series “Friends,” which she had not seen in about 20 years.
Jennifer Aniston was the first to come and hug him, and then the rest of the cast expressed their condolences.
One of the most touching moments, she said, was when the five actors — Jennifer Aniston, Courtney Cox, Lisa Kudrow, David Schwimmer and Matt LeBlanc — approached Perry’s coffin holding hands and stood around him crying.

The documentary deals with the actor’s journey to fame, his life in the success of theFrids, personal relations, and addictional battles to his tragic death.
According to the autopsy report, Perry died of acute effects of ketamine, and his manner of death was determined to be accidental drowning.
Matthew
Neither the actors of Friends) nor some of Perry’s family have participated in the documentary.
