Headaches and those in the ear area, shown after placing bridges or dental prosthetics, may be related to bite changes.
So has explained the dentist’s dentistry specialist, Raymond Halili, during a conversation at the podcaster, first-class government, supported by United Hospital i n The Laseric Center of the Eye ʹKubati.
According to her, during the implementation of protein works, one of the most important elements is to maintain the vertical dimension of the bite, since inaccurate changes can cause concern in patients.
When we work on a prosthetic or a bridge, we either cut it down or lift it up. So we have to be very, very precise in these dimensions, Halili explained.
She has stressed that changes to the level of bite can directly affect the jaw joint, causing the pain patients often describe as concerns in the ear zone.
Every difference in its landing or rising gives direct pain in articulation. Patients, when they come after receiving a protein paper, say they are constantly in pain in the ear section, she has declared.
The specialist has explained that such concerns may be the result of changes in the way they meet their teeth during bites.
A higher bite point affects joint pain and headaches, Halili stressed.
According to her, restoring bite in the right position requires special professional care and time during the dentistic treatment.
