The Constitutional Prosecutor in Pec, the General Department, reports that he has filed a request for the appointment of the detention measure against indictees J.S., due to the suspicion given that he carried out the criminal act, the court’s contempt, according to the Criminal Code of the Republic of Kosovo.
According to the request, on October 25, 2026, around 17:58, on the street of Moon Dedushaj, in the village of Vitomirica, Pec municipality, the defendant allegedly failed to comply with the 1st clause of the Constitutional Court’s decision device in Pec, dated October 16, 2026. Despite the court’s order not to exercise physical or psychic violence, not to prevent the victim’s movement, not to offend, disturb or threaten him, the defendant is suspected to have again committed psychological violence against his wife, now the late A.Z., addressing him with threatening words. He is also suspected of taking clothes from the victim to the laundry and throwing them into the backyard.
With these actions, the defendant allegedly committed a criminal offence by Article 393, paragraph 1 of the Republic of Kosovo Penal Code.
The hearing for the application for the detention arrangement is expected to be held during today at the Foundation Court in Pec.
