What App is developing a new feature for iPhone users, which aims to make it easier to find photos, videos, links and documents exchanged in conversation.
It’s about function. MediaHub, which was released last year in Mac and Web app versions, while recently it was noted in the beta version of WhatsApp for IOS, number 26.42.10.74, reports B92, referring to GSM Arena.
The new function will be accessible through app quality and will gather in a single media material accepted in the conversation. However, it will not include photos, videos, and other materials sent by users themselves, as well as messages or content that disappear after a certain period of time.
Two sections to organize materials
MediaHub will contain two main sections. The new section will display recently accepted materials, while all media will enable users to see all available content.
Users will be able to filter materials according to category, sharing photos, videos and links. They will also be able to choose between being shown in the form of lists or networks and to isolate the content they have enjoyed.
For each material, several actions will be available, including being conveyed to another conversation, reaction, star note, and direct passage into conversations where the material is initially accepted.
The search will facilitate the finding of content
One of the most useful features of Media Hub is expected to be the integrated research function. It will support research through photos, videos and connections, facilitating users to find material even when they do not remember when they accepted it.
This feature aims to simplify access to previously exchanged content, without the need for users to look manually at conversations.
When is it expected to be available?
For the time being, MediaHub is still in the development phase and is not available even for testative beta versions.
It is expected that whatsapp will test the function with a limited number of users in one of the future updates before deciding for a wider distribution.
