Barcelona requires defense transfers, two big names on Flick’s list.

Barcelona has launched research for a new protector centre in the January transitional term, which can readily adapt to coach Hansi Flick’s game style, reports transfer expert Matteo Moretto.

Problems with injuries and lack of adequate protection options have highlighted the Katalunians’ weaknesses, especially after two recent losses to Paris Saint-Germainin and Real Madrid.

For this reason, Barcelona’s leaders are aiming to reinforce the defensive department during the passing January deadline. One of the names under consideration is the Brazilian defender of Real Betis, Nathan.

The defender has shown continuity in his presentations with the club from Seville and was on Barcelona radar for the past summer.

Another factor that can facilitate Nathan’s transfer is his goal of obtaining his Spanish passport.

If you secure it, Barcelona will be able to register it without exploiting a reserved place for footballers outside the European Union.

But Nathan is not the only name on the Catalon list. According to Moretos, Alessandro Baston of Inter remains a possible target, as Barcelona had tried to transfer it during the passing summer deadline.

Beaston and Inter are pleased with each other, but looking towards the next summer, if a very high offer comes, Inter can examine it and allow its departure, Moreto said. /Telegraph/
