The second night of the Kosovo Festival is held tonight in RTK

Tonight continues the second night of the Kosovo Song Contest on Radio Television ( RTK.

In a festive atmosphere and with a magnificent masquerade last night at the 1 October gym in Pristina, the first night of the fourth edition of the Song Festival at RTK justly Kosovo Accords was held.

This great music event, which was broadcast live on Kosovo Radio Television, but also on Albanian Radio Television and North Macedonia Radio Television in the Albanian-language channel, brought to the public an excellent combination of dice, from alternative rock-totno-pop and jazz, to moving balloons.

The first night brought 17 competitive soloists to the stage, accompanied directly by the festival orchestra and bandee.

Meanwhile, the third night will be dedicated to the children’s festival, which comes with the first edition.

Kosovo Radio Television General Director Zana Spahiu has announced that the public broadcaster has launched lobeation near the European Broadcasting Union ( The EBU, with the aim of the winner of the Kosovo Song Contest, representing our country at Eurovision. Spahiu has said RTK has already submitted a request to the EBU, which was reviewed by this institution.

I think we’re good, but I think we’ve got a lot of work to show that the festival that really is organised, the winner who’s at the helm of this festival should be represented and part of the race, Spahiu said.

She has stressed that lobbies and efforts will continue in hopes of changing the EBU statute, which currently does not allow Kosovo to be part of this mechanism. Spahiu has also spoken of the importance of the festival’s fourth edition, isolating the return of the historic appointment of the Kosovo Accords and the dedication of RTK staff to the implementation of this project.

Meanwhile, Geraldina Crnobregu, deputy chairman of the RTK Board, has praised the work done for organising the festival, expressing hope that it will serve as a combination of the past and the present.

While the festival’s artistic director, Florent Bosnjak, said last night about RTK that the return of the historic name Kosovo Accords gives this edition a special artistic and cultural significance.

We deserve a music party, we deserve to appreciate history, and this year we have returned the name of the Kosovo Accords. So the Kosovo Festival of Accords resumes as history, Bosniak said.
