A phone call from the neighbour has brought the heavy news to a 75-year-old from Skenderaj: his home in the village of Izbica was involved in flames. The fire had damaged the peak and internal furniture, while the damage, according to the owner, totals about 20 thousand euros. What set the house on fire is still unknown.

Signal Gazette sources suggest it’s H.H. 75-year-old, which was presented at the Police Station in Skenderaj on November 2nd after a neighbour had learned about burning his house.

According to information provided by the signal, the fire was on October 30, about 1500, in a one – story house in the village of Izbiica.

The object was uninhabited, while the flames had swept through the roof and damaged the furniture inside.

The owner has declared that the material damage amounts to about 20,000 euros, but so far is not known whether the house is set on fire or flames are caused by some other factor.

After the indictment, police units, investigators and forensics have appeared on the scene, who have searched the house and documented its situation.

To whitewash the cause of the fire, the State Prosecutor has ordered the commitment of the fire expert, who is expected to assess the circumstances under which the object is involved in flames.

The case has been initiated for criminal work causing general danger, while still no suspect has been identified.

Investigations continue to clarify what caused the fire and whether any illegal action is behind it.
