About 15 years after the horrific crime, the Constitutional Prosecutor in Pristina has filed an indictment in absentia against Adnan Jashar, charged with the murder of Diana Kastrati.
As reported, the indictment filed on October 22nd has already been handed over to the Constitutional Court.
Through this file, the prosecution charges Jashar with two criminal acts – murder and possession of arms without permission.
Diana Kastrati was killed 18 May 2011 in Pristina at the age of 27. Even though she had asked institutions for an emergency defence order against her former co-existenceer, the state failed to offer necessary protection.
