Kosovo Customs, during regular controls at the Han border crossing point in Elez, at the entrance of the Republic of Kosovo, has discovered undeclared goods in the cabin of a truck.
While verifying documentation and comparing it with the actual status of the cargo, the customs official, due to allegations raised, has also expanded control in the truck cabin, where undeclared goods have been discovered.
Undeclared goods have been found during the search, namely:
• 16 car design;
• 250 pieces of plastic containers.
The total value of goods, without including customs and tax duties, is estimated to be around 2,400 euros.
The goods have been banned and the case is being handled in line with procedures and legislation in force.
Kosovo customs remains committed to preventing and fighting smuggling, protecting legal trade and uniform implementation of customs legislation, contributing to the protection of the country’s economic interests.
