Red Days are facing Rome today, under the fourth lap of the Champions League, at a difficult time for the team, which has not recorded victory in the last nine games in all races.
Carrick has praised the support of fans, especially in losing 0:2 to Chelsea, when they continued singing in the second part, despite Unitedi’s being with one less player.
We have to get to the right level and give the fans a reason to cheer up. In the match against the Chelseas they were extraordinary. They kept singing throughout the second part, even after we were left with ten players. That’s what true fans do, Carrick said.
He stressed that the team should reward their support and that the race against Rome is the first chance to do so.
Exactly in times of trouble, commitment to the club is tested. The fact that fans stood by us and endured means a lot. We should reward this support and start since this match, the English coach said.
