After 27 years of uncertainty and expectation, the Ademi family has received the long – awaited news of Dr. Ademi, who had disappeared during the Kosovo war.
The news has revealed Erbelin Ademi, through a public announcement on behalf of the family, confirming that the results of DNA tests, coming from the laboratory in The Hague, have enabled his father’s identification.
In the statement, the family expresses its emotions about this important news, stressing that after nearly three decades of waiting, it is finally becoming possible to conclude a painful chapter and bid the final farewell with dignity.
The Ademi family has thanked the institutions of the Republic of Kosovo, officials, investigators and legal medicine experts, as well as all those who have contributed to Dr. Adam.
The announcement also remembers his contribution as a physician and surgeon, his life course that was saved, and his devotion to people and to society.
The family has announced that Dr. Adam will be forwarded to the last residence with the honor and dignity that he deserves, while on the date and time of the burial, as well as to the organization of the dowry, he will announce in the coming days.
