Police investigators from the Directorate for Investigation of Organised Crime and Dead Crimes, in co-operation and co-ordination with the Basic Prosecutor in Gjakova, have handled the case presented in 30.10.2026, as a heavy capture, located at a weapons depot in Gjakova.
In the continuation of the case investigation, investigations have resulted in the establishment of reasonable suspicion that reporting the owner of the station-polygon deposit, has been the insinuation of theft, and that weapons in this licensed range have been misused respectively for the third parties by the owner of the polygaon himself.
On the goal of securing additional evidence regarding allegations of committing criminal acts, import, export, supply, transport, production, exchange, mediation or sale of unauthorised weapons or explosive subjects and false statement, today in 03.2026 police units from the Directorate for Organised Crime and Crime Investigation and Rinda, in co-ordination with PTH Gjakova have conducted control at three locations in the Gjakova region, police report.
As a result, the V.C. suspect, the Kosovo male, has been arrested, and evidence has been seized which will be used in criminal procedure.
The suspect following the prosecutor’s decision interview by PTH-Gjakov was assigned the detention measure for 48 hours.
