Exclusive From the victim of alleged theft for her insulting was arrested the owner of Tactical ‘%s’ in Gjakova, allegedly sold over 100 weapons himself.

Denonco’s disappearance of over 100 weapons from his Gjakova warehouse, but only a few days later ended himself in police handcuffs. One of the most sensational cases recently reported on by weapons theft has taken a sudden turn: investigators suspect the theft had been installed by the owner of the Tactical polygion and that weapons were illegally sold to third persons.

The signal newspaper, which reported earlier on the disappearance of weapons from the warehouse, has learned that the person arrested is Valon Curri (39), owner of the police station naught Tactical) in Gjakova.

The case was reported on October 30th, when the disappearance of over 100 firearms was reported from the storage of the licensed range, with a alleged damage of over 100,000 euros.

One detail had drawn attention from the outset: No visible signs of forced breach had been observed at the door of the warehouse.

But what was initially being investigated as gun theft by strangers has already taken a completely different course.

Investigations Dispute Institutions and Weapons Sales

According to information the signal has provided, the Directorate for Investigation of Organised Crime and Red Crimes, in co-ordination with the Constitutional Prosecutor in Gjakova, has taken investigative action to whiteen the disappearance of weapons.

Evidence and evidence provided during the investigation have raised the reasonable suspicion that the denouncing of theft was indecisive and that the weapons may have been sold by the owner of the polygon himself.

These developments have caused the investigation to focus on the person who had initially reported their disappearance.

Stalling at three locations, Valon Curry arrested

On Tuesday, November 3rd, units of the Directorate for Investigation of Organised Crime and Red Crimes have conducted an operation in three locations in the Gjakova region.

Material evidence has been seized during the raids, while Valon Curri has been arrested and accompanied for interviewing.

After completing the initial procedures, with the State Prosecutor’s decision, a 48-hour ban has been imposed on him.

Curri is being investigated under suspicion of criminal acts import, export, supply, transport, production, exchange, unauthorized mediation or sale of weapons or explosive matter and false statement.

Where did the guns end?

One of the most important issues left to be clarified is where the weapons reported stolen have ended.

If doubts prove to be sold to third persons, the investigation will have to find out who bought them, under what circumstances they were sold, and if they can be found and seized.

So far, there is no confirmed information on the number of weapons eventually found or on the identity of persons allegedly bought.

Thus, one case that began with denouncing the disappearance of over 100 weapons from a licensed depot has been turned into a criminal investigation into its own owner.

Valon Curri remains suspected and his eventual criminal responsibility will be determined during the procedure.
