Barcelona: I’m not Salah, I want to write my story about Liverpool.

Barcola had been transferred from Paris Saint-Germainin to Liverpool for the equivalent of 125m euros, considered Salah’s successor, who for nine years was one of the team’s top figures from énfield.

However, the 24-year-old has yet to score a goal in his seven appearances at Premierliga. Despite this, the Frenchman says he does not care about the amount paid for his transfer, nor does he care about the Egyptian star.

First of all, I wasn’t the one who put the amount of transfer, so that’s not my responsibility. As for Mohammed Salah, he’s a legend of this club. He has done extraordinary things and I have great respect for him. But that doesn’t put pressure on me, Barcola said.

I’m not Mohammed Salah. I’ll try to make my contribution to the club and leave my mark on his story. I don’t feel the pressure on this.

Barcola believes his performance will improve

The French attacker, who was Liverpool’s main target for more than a year, admits he has not yet shown his full potential.

Despite having faced difficulties at the beginning of England’s adventure, Barcola realised het-trick to the Austrian LASK team in the Champions League last month, while later recorded two first assets with Liverpool’s fan.

He believes that in time and with the creation of greater harmony with his fellow players, his appearances will be even better.

I’m not at my best. You haven’t seen the best Bradley Barcolas version yet. We are working together so that they can benefit the most from my qualities. I believe that once we have a bigger understanding in the field, things will improve significantly. It’s getting better and better, and my fellow players are better understanding my game style, the Frenchman’s done.
