The tragic case in Italy: Photo of 21-year-old Albanian killed his mother

New details have been made white by Italian media over the serious crime that shocked the Albanian community in Chiari in Brescia, where 39-year-old Meleke Lusha was stabbed to death by her son, Edward Gianni, 21.

The event took place two days ago inside their home. After taking her mother’s life by stabning her several times, the young man left the scene by car. After several hours of escape, however, he turned himself over to the police and confessed his crime.

Italian investigators suspect that mental health problems may have become the cause of his move, despite the young man’s lack of medical treatment. During the interrogation, the 21-year-old has been unable to provide an explanation for why he committed the crime, while claiming there was no dissatisfaction or conflict with his mother. For this reason, a specialized psychiatric evaluation is expected to be carried out.

The event has left neighborhoods and neighborhood dwellers in shock on the street of Silvio Pellico, where 21-year-old lived with his mother and where one of his uncles still lives.

He was always a good guy. I often watched him walk to the station to go to work, and one of his neighbors has expressed himself, who added that he had never noticed problematic or disturbing behavior in the young man.

Good words to the neighbors have also been to the victim, 39-year-old Meleke Lusha.

She was a very sweet and kind woman, just like her son. We are speechless, says a local resident. Meanwhile, a store owner in the center of town claimed that the family was well – known and suggested that he is organizing a fundraiser to help them at this difficult time.
