The theft of $6.3 billion in crypto notes, how a job interview was used to carry out the giant attack

A job interview, a programming assignment, and a company that did not exist.

That’s all it took to pave the way to one of the biggest thefts of Kryptonite history.

Binance On November 3rd, it revealed that the 6.3 billion – dollar attack on October 29th had been prepared for months.

In September, an engineer was contacted through a legitimate employment platform.

After interviews with individuals who were presented as directors of a company, he dismissed a programming commission that contained malicious programs.

The hackers then exploited an internal device of artificial intelligence to enter colleagues’ systems.

The FBI attributed the attack to a group linked to North Korea, while Puerto Rican denies involvement.

The scholarship, which preserved billions of dollars in digital wealth, was penetrated through one of the most common work market rituals – an interview for a better place. /Reuters
