Two people have been arrested in Prizren, following an action conducted by investigators from the Directorate for Investigation of Economic Crimes and Corruption, under an investigation into allegations of production and distribution of harmful medical products.
As the Herald of Signal earlier exclusively reported, investigators have raided two locations in Prizren, under a Constitutional Court ordinance in this city.
Police have announced that controls are conducted in two pharmaceutical businesses, in co-ordination with the State Attorney and with the assistance of the Health Inspectorate/ The Health Ministry pharmaceutical.
Hidden warehouses have been discovered during the raids, where unscathed drugs were kept, under conditions that failed to meet the standards for the preservation of medical products.
According to police, the value of medicines confiscated in both locations totals about 10,000 euros in the market. Their seizure was carried out by the Kosovo Customs Anti-Contract Unit.
Two Kosovo men have been arrested in the quality of the suspects, who, at the prosecutor’s decision, have been sent to maintenance for 48 hours.
The case has been initiated for criminal work production and distribution of harmful medical products.
