Energy is an area to which we have given extraordinary attention and enormous financial resources. Since the start of the large-scale invasion, we have spent about 4 billion euros on energy, while the package for this winter amounts to the value of almost one billion euros, the diplomat has said.
According to her, the aid covers a wide range of fields, including support for the liquidity of major energy companies, such as UKrenergogoggão, as well as gas purchase assistance.
In addition, the EU is funding renewable energy development and energy efficiency, is helping repair damaged or destroyed energy infrastructure, and strengthening the passive protection of energy facilities.
Another important component of the winter aid is its humanitarian dimension.
According to the diplomat, the EU is providing financial support to needy families living near the front line.
