The Appeals Court has partially approved the Basic Prosecutor’s complaint in Prizren, increasing its sentence from 7 years and 6 months to 10 years in prison for accused B.G., who was convicted of serious murder in attempted attempted murder of his minor wife and daughter.
According to Appeal, the previous first degree sentence was not in line with the degree of social risk and the consequences caused.
After reviewing the complaint, Appeals has found that the first – degree court had directly and fully confirmed the actual state of the case, but had not given due weight to the circumstances during the extent of the sentence.
In the new ruling, the accused will also be counted as the time spent in custody.
