An investigation into the fires in Cline has taken another turn, as police officials — during a visit to the home of a 44-year-old — have uncovered another suspected case of domestic violence. A 71-year-old woman has confessed to investigators that she felt threatened and intimidated by her stepchildren, who, according to her, exercised psychological violence and recently increased threats to her.
Signal Journal sources suggest that the case was discovered Thursday, November 5, 2026, at 1:30, on the Merturi Street in Cline.
It all started when police investigators went to D.P. House. Forty-four years old, under a firing investigation.
However, while staying in that house, they have met his stepmother, F.P. 71 years old, who told them he was facing a disturbing situation within the family.
According to her statement, the stepchildren had been practicing psychological violence against her and kept threatening her with words, causing her fear and uncertainty.
The 71-year-old has also claimed that the suspect was alcohol users and had mental health problems, while, according to her, his condition had deteriorated recently.
These women’s claims remain to be verified during the investigation.
After receiving its statement, police officials have informed the State Prosecutor of allegations concerning domestic violence.
At the Prosecution’s decision, a case for the 44-year-old has been initiated in the case of domestic criminal work, and he has been detained for 48 hours.
In the meantime, more details have yet been made known about the fires, for which investigators had first gone to that house.
Investigations continue to clear up the circumstances of the case.
