Ukraine claims to have hit Russian oil industry, 15 refinery out of office

Ukraine claims that 15 of Russia’s largest oil refinerys are out of office as a result of continued attacks on Russian energy infrastructure.

Ukrainian shocks are causing significant damage to the Russian oil industry, hampering the activity of a large number of refinerys and reducing their processing capacities.

According to Ukrainian intelligence data, at the end of September, 15 of the 38 main Russian refinerys were out of office, while another 12 had reduced production capacities, writes Sky News.

A spokesman for Ukraine’s Defense Intelligence Agency has stated that the total volume of oil processing in these facilities had dropped by 55.4 percent compared with the beginning of the year.

Meanwhile, Ukrainian attacks on Russian energy facilities are continuing. During the past weekend, after shooting at several locations, large fires were reported in Russian refinerys.

Developments come after the controversial ceasefire between Ukraine and Russia, which has to do with attacks on energy infrastructure, is already over.
