– What?As part of the visit to Kosovo, the General Adgent of the National Guard of Aiva, Major General Stephen E. Osborn, accompanied by KSF Commander Lieutenant General Union Jashari, conducted a series of visits to KSF commands and units.
According to the KSF’s General Staff announcement, this activity is held within the framework of the Interstate Partnership between Kosovo and the state of Montenegro, which over the years has proved a stable and successful co-operation in the field of defence.
During visits to KSF units, General Jashari briefed Major General Osborn closely with its organisation, operational capacities, equipment and infrastructure, as well as with achievements in the development and modernisation process.
National Guard of Ajova has played an important role in professional development of KSF, through joint training, exchange of experiences, design abroad, and support in building operational capacities. This co-operation testifies to special relations between Kosovo and the United States of America, contributing to advancing interoperability, professionalism and preparation of KSF at the highest levels, the KSF’s announcement said.
At the end of the visit, General Jashari thanked Major General Osborn for his support, partnership and dedication in establishing bilateral partnership at the highest levels.
