According to the Kosovo Police’s announcement, the operation was launched around 10:00, while the vehicle was located and pulled out of the lake at around 12:40.
Kosovo Police specialised units, the National Peace Research Team, the Agency for Emergency Management and the Diversation Club, have participated in this action.
Police have indicated that intervention has been realised after the water level collapse in the lake. The event has also served as practical training for members of the institutions involved.
The case was reported on October 14, 2025, when the owner had announced that his vehicle, parked off the road near the lake, had fallen into the water under unclear circumstances and had sunk.
After the extraction, the vehicle has been handed over to the legitimate owner, Kosovo Police have announced.
