Ferizaj’s Regional Police have issued 1,449 counter-evasive fines and suspended 56 driver licenses over the past week.
According to the Police Community, the measures have been undertaken under activities to prevent road communication accidents during September 28th through October 4th, 2026.
A total of 32 traffic accidents have been recorded during this period in the Ferizaj region.
Of them, 19 accidents have been injured, where 23 people have been injured, while 13 accidents have ended with only material damage.
Ferizaj Regional Police have indicated that they will continue with increased activities aimed at preventing traffic accidents.
At the same time, police have appealed to all drivers to be careful and comply with the rules of communication.
Police have invited citizens to co-operate with the authorities and report the traffic violations to the nearest police station, through the digital app, warn the police or the 192 custody number. /Telegraph/
