DUI Chairman Ali Ahmeti was present in Brvenica where he delivered his speech after Arkin Jahij’s victory. He said Brvenica is the majority Albanian municipality, and it is up to citizens to have Albanian chairmanship.
He also said Macedonia is neither of Hristija Mickoski nor of Branko Crvenkovski, but it is Albanians.
Tonight, in all the attention of all Albanians, they will get that Brvenica is a municipality with 65% Albanians and is entitled to the Albanian chairman. I want to thank everyone who was determined today for the future of the municipality. Archin today is the representative of all citizens of the municipality.
Some Macedonian politicians, who labeled our representative a criminal, have not done well. Urgent statements do not do good to co-existence, as we as party leaders cannot be a prosecutor. I hope that such mistakes are not made but that we serve closeness and communication.
Macedonia is neither Hristian nor Branko Crvenkovski’s, Macedonia is the homeland of Albanians who are autochthons and who have not bothered anyone, but others have been around us. We’re reformers and we own this place. They should support us in this attitude so clear to those who have a dilemma. We take responsibility to move processes forward for the country we belong to, Ahmeti said, among other things. /Telegraphy/
