New details have been made known about the serious case that shocked the village of Demaj in Gjilan on the morning of November 1, where a 27-year-old and a baby were found without signs of life inside a house.
Kosovo police have reported that, after initial investigations at the scene, allegedly the incident occurred within the family. A 65-year-old person has been arrested, whom police have identified as the victim’s father. At the prosecutor’s decision, he was detained for 48 hours.
As the Signal newspaper reported earlier, 27-year-old has been identified as Adonis Demiri, while the baby found without life was female.
Signal sources have also indicated that the baby’s mother did not live in the same house as 27-year-old and baby.
According to the Police report, the information about the two people suspected of having changed their lives to the home in Demajni was accepted on November 1st, about 8:47 p.m. Police units, state attorneys and medical emergency teams, where the caretaker doctor has ascertained the deaths of both persons, have emerged at the scene.
The case has already been described as a grave murder, while lifeless bodies have been sent to the Institute of Legal Medicine in Pristina for production.
Police have indicated that, in co-operation with the Prosecution, necessary investigative and operational actions are being undertaken for the full whiteening of the case’s circumstances.
