Russian authorities have arrested a minor in connection with an alleged terrorist threat against the Tsaritsynno Museum Reserve in Moscow, according to Russian media.
The US Embassy in Russia issued a security alert Saturday warning of a credible threat to a mass casualties event at the scene.
According to the embassy, Washington was co-ordinating an answer with Russian authorities.
Although the embassy did not provide specific details, it advised people to stay alert and avoid crowds.

As a result of the operation, a minor Russian citizen was banned; he had posted photos of himself on the platform of short TikTok videos, dressed in tactical dress, balakalava, hats, sunglasses, headphones and an object that resembled an automatic weapon, as well as photos taken at the Museum-Rezerwe Tsaritsynno, with the inscription: I found a place, she said.
Saturday evening, museum and Tsaritsynno facilities were closed for technical reasons, and visitors were evacuated. It reopened as usual on November 1st, according to Russian media reports.

The attack took place on March 22nd and left more than 150 people dead and hundreds injured. In the days leading up to the attack, Russian President Vladimir Putin described warnings from a number of Western official bodies regarding the possibility of terrorist attacks in Russia) as a provocation. At the time, he claimed it constitutes open blackmail and an attempt to destabilise society.
