Arsenal is preparing a bid for Alex Baenan, who considers one of the main targets for reinforcement of the left wing of the attack.
However, Atletico Madrid has no intention of allowing the Spanish footballer to leave during the January transitional deadline, as it views him as one of the key players in the team led by Diego Simeone.
Baana, 25, is going through an excellent form this season, registering five goals and three assistations in 13 presentations.
According to reports by Football Insiderı, Arsenal’s interest in the Spaniard has increased significantly, but the management of the London club are aware that his transfer during the passing winter deadline will be very difficult.
If they fail to reach agreement in January, Arsenal may return with a bid for Baanan during the summer of 2027.
