The murder of Arlinda Silla Zekaj, on Sunday night at Vitomirica in Pec, has not been included in the recent 24-hour police report on Pec.

The time of drafting the report remains to be clarified and the exact period it covers, to determine whether the event had occurred within the interval of reporting.
Arlinda was allegedly killed with ax by her brother-in-law, Albert Sylaj, who later left the scene.
The signal newspaper also reported on requests the victim had addressed to institutions before the assassination. In a letter received by the Prosecutor’s Office on October 22nd, she had warned of the danger to her life.
I wish the day would not come when you and the responsible institutions were forced to render an account only after my life was taken, Arlinda wrote.
The Constitutional Prosecutor in Pec has stated that the parachute was registered for assessment by the competent prosecutor and was forwarded for urgent treatment to the relevant institutions.
Three days after the letter was received, Arlinda was killed.
