Kosovo Statistics Agency ( The AKS has published the Agricultural Products and Prices Index for the third quarter of 2026. According to the AKS, agricultural prices have marked slight growth compared to the same period in 2025. The data has been collected in markets, farms and other agricultural collection sites.
At TM3 2026, the price index of plant products has an increase for (0.8 %), compared to the same period in 2025. In contrast, the price index of livestock products has an increase of 3,1 %), compared to the same period in 2025. According to the AKS, products that create grounds for the price index of agricultural products are divided into two main groups: Plant and animal products.
Within the framework of plant products, prices are collected for these groups: cereals, food plants, vegetables, potatoes, and trees. In livestock products, prices are collected for livestock and livestock products. Within livestock, prices accumulate for four categories of animals: cattle, sheep, pigs and chickens. These awards are based on the living weight of animals. Within livestock products, prices are collected for milk, eggs, and honey.
