Great Britain called on Serbia for those responsible for the attack on Banjska, including Milan Radojici, to be brought to justice.
In its discussion with the UN Security Council, Britain’s UN representative, Jennifer MacNaughtan, also cited the murder of Kosovo Police Sergeant Africa Bulnjak, stressing that they have spent more than three years in the attack and Serbia has undertaken nothing.
She requested that Serbia offer access to archives to enable progress in whitewashing the fate of missing persons during the war in Kosovo.
Britain has welcomed the formation of Kosovo institutions and has called on states that have not yet recognised the country’s independence to join most of the states of recognition.
The British representative has stressed that normalising relations between Kosovo and Serbia remains essential for the long-term stability and the European future of both countries.
It has called on the parties to implement the agreements reached in the European Union-brokered dialogue, including the Ohrid Agreement, as well as pledges to self-advancing the Serb community in Kosovo.
