A woman in Pristina has sought police assistance after facing physical and psychological violence from her husband. The event took place at the family residence, while after the authorities’ intervention, the man has been detained for 48 hours, the Signal newspaper reports.
According to information provided by the signal, the case occurred on Saturday, November 7th, around 14:35, on the street yagim Ramadaniı in Pristina.
The victim, a 48-year-old M.B., has sought help after the physical and psychological violence that has claimed to have been exercised against her by her husband, S.B.
After receiving the information, police have taken the necessary action to tackle the case, while competent units for domestic violence are involved.
The State Prosecutor has been notified of the incident, and after addressing the circumstances, by its decision, the suspect has been detained for 48 hours.
