The economic crimes action against alleged drug smuggling in Prizren, for which the Signal newspaper reported earlier, has ended with the arrest of two people and the sequenting of thousands of packaged products suspected. The operation was conducted in two locations, while new information also revealed the identities of arrested persons.
The signal newspaper has exclusively secured the names of two people who, according to its sources, have been arrested in connection with the case.

As the signal reported earlier, economic crimes investigators have conducted raids at two locations in Prizren, under the Constitutional Court’s ordinance in Prizren.
About 2,750 stake in the focus of investigations
Signal sources suggest that, during the operation, some 2,600 packages are being counted at one location and about 150 packages in the other location, allegedly linked to smuggling activity.
According to initial information, the value of products stored in one of the locations is about $8,000.
Yet, the total value of sequenified products, the type and origin of each product has not yet been confirmed.
The operation has been conducted under investigation into medicines and other products allegedly circulated contrary to legal provisions.
Investigations continue to clarify the origin of goods, supply and eventual responsibility of suspected persons.
