Real Madrid’s defender, Eder Militao, has become the victim of a robbery in his luxurious villa in Madrid’s La Morale district, while attending the Barcelona match under El Classico.
According to reports by the Spanish medium El Mundo, at least two people broke into the Brazilian footballer’s house during the first part of the match, stealing luxury items and jewelry worth 350,000 euros.
At the time of the robbery, there were also family members of Militão, who were attending the match downstairs. The thieves allegedly used this situation to check rooms upstairs without noticing.
Among the stolen items are two luxury clocks, a Rolex worth about 53 thousand euros and a Richard Mille, which costs approximately 170 thousand euros. Robbers have also received three Chanel bags, valued at about 15 thousand euros, as well as Cartier brand jewelry worth about 25 thousand euros.
The robbery was discovered after signs of space control, open cabinets, and scattered items were spotted in the football bedroom.
After the random reporting, police and residential complex security personnel have arrived at the villa. Investigators have begun their author identification work while also analyzing images of security cameras.
Militao joined Real Madrid in 2019 when the Madrillan club transferred him from Porto for 50m euros. So far, the Brazilian defender has recorded 195 presentations and 14 goals with the Spanish team’s lantern.
During his career in Madrid, he has won three titles of La League, two championship league trophies, a King’s Cup and a World Cup for Clubs.
