Isaac after winning Brighton: We could have scored more goals

Liverpool triumphed Saturday in England, recording the fourth round victory in all races. For Isaac, this was an important victory over an opponent who had won four consecutive games in Premierliga without a goal.

Florian Wirtz contributed to the first goal of the locals, when his blow went astray from Pascal Gross and ended up in the net. Just four minutes later, Isaac doubled the supremacy of Bradley Barcola’s assistance.

For the Swedish assailant, this was the sixth goal in the current edition of Premierliga.

It’s been a long time since the last victory at home in Premierliga and I think that was the right way to achieve it, to a team in good shape and to develop such a goalless performance. I’m very pleased, he said Isaac said about Sky Sports.

The attacker particularly praised Liverpool’s appearance in the first half, when the team created several good cases for marking through pressure and quick counterattacks.

We had many cases in the first half when we won the ball and launched a counterattack. We could have scored more goals. Bradley did a great job and for me it was only important to be in the right place to complete the action, he said.

Isaac stressed that this very style of play should be the model for Liverpool’s future presentations.

By all means today, the appearance was very good and solid for a strong team. The first part was exactly what we want to represent as a team: intensity, ball profit and quick counterattacks. I am very pleased, especially with the first part, the attacker ended.

Liverpool is looking forward to the ongoing significant challenges, initially towards Chelsea at the English League Cup, while next week he will face Arsenal, the incumbent Premierliga champion.
