Laura Fazliu, Akil Gjakova and Dardan Cena will represent Kosovo in the Grand Slam of Judo, held from October 29th to October 31st in the United Arab Emirates.
Judo champions will return to Tatam this week, with Kosovo being part of the prestigious Grand Slam Abu Dhabi 2026 contest, where 374 contestants from 59 countries and six continents are expected to take part.
Kosovo team will be represented by three jungles: Laura Fazliu in the category of up to 63kg, as well as Akil Gjakova and Dardan Chen in the category of up to 73 kg.
Kosovo racers will be led by coach Zymer Zeka, with the aim of presenting Kosovo as best in one of the key races of the international Judo calendar.
This edition of Abu Dhabi’s Grand Slam has recorded 221 male and 153 female contestants, while the race will take place for three days, from 29 October to 31 October.
