Get out of here and Europe, you can’t believe it, Scholes hard on Bruno Fernandes.

Paul Scholes believes Bruno Fernandes can no longer be believed to be captain of Manchester United and suggests that he continue his career in Saudi Arabia. So United legend reacted to Fernande’s criticism of coach Michael Carrick and described his explosion as unforgivable.

Fernandes criticised the decision not to play a one-on-one defence against Como, saying it gave the opponent more confidence. The midfielder was then removed from the team for the match against Bournemouth.

Thus, Scholes has told Fernandes to give up European football after Manchester United captain publicly criticised Carrick’s tactics after last week’s defeat in Italy.

What Bruno Fernandes said last week found unforgivable, Scholes said, a United legend with more than 700 presentations for the club and 11 titles of the Premier League.

How can anyone trust that captain’s tape at any club? I think it’s better that he leave Europe, go to Saudi Arabia and just leave here. I don’t think any manager or staff member can trust him after that, English is over.

This is not the first time that Scholes has criticised Fernande’s behaviour, after he had already told him to be surprised earlier this season after United States captain criticised his team’s performance after losing to Hull City.

Falling Form

Since coming from Sporting Lisbon in 2020, Fernandes has been one of United’s top players, but this season he’s playing in a much weaker shape.

Last season he set a record in Premier League with 21 assistings, while this season recorded only one, against Ipsich. Three out of his four goals also came against the same new Premier League team, while the rest came against Sabah in the Champions League.

The club confirmed that Carrick is taking a chance to improve the results, despite a weak series that has seen the team fall to 16th place on the board, just one point over the fall zone.

Unitedi travels to Stamford Bridge on Saturday, where Carrick will seek his first three points since victory over Ipsich in late August. /Telegraphy/
