Bashkim Gashi, accused of stabning his wife and a minor girl in Prizren, has apologised to his wife during today’s hearing at the Court of Appeals.
The case relates to the event of October 17th 2025, when the two injured were seriously injured by stabs and sent for treatment at Prizren Hospital, the Signal newspaper reports.
According to the prosecution’s then announcement, police had found the woman injured on the street and offered her first aid until the medical team arrived. Meanwhile, the minor had been found wounded on the top floor of the building.
Gashi had been arrested at the scene, while investigations of criminal acts led to serious attempted murder and possession in ownership, control or unauthorized possession of weapons were initiated against him.
A day after the event, the Constitutional Court in Prizren had assigned the detention measure for a month.
