Liverpool defeats Brighton, continues positive series

This loss also put an end to a series of five consecutive games without taking a goal for Brighton in all races.

Liverpool started the match with the intention of taking control, but even guests created dangerous cases in the first phase of the meeting.

Brighton was able to pass through the upper hand, but Yassin Ayari failed to seize the good opportunity, sending the ball over the gate at a moment when goalkeeper Aliceson was out of position.

The locals were more efficient and passed on after a blow by Florian Ertz, which slipped from Pascal Gross and ended up in the net.

Liverpool did not stop there and was able to double his supremacy. Bradley Barcola assisted Alexander Isaac, who made it by 2:0, drawing the local team into an important victory.

Brighton tried to get back into the game and created several opportunities to narrow the score. Ayari hit the pillar in the first part, while in the second faction, Maxim De Cuyper was near the goal, but the decisive intervention of Trey Nyon kept Liverpool’s gate intact.

Despite the guest effort, Liverpool successfully defended himself and managed his supremacy until the end of the meeting.

For Brighton, this was the first time this season in Premierligle that failed to score a goal. The team had also recorded a goal-free draw against Jablonec in the midweek match.

On the other hand, Liverpool has recorded six victories in the last seven matches, with only one defeat, confirming the good form in recent weeks.

After that victory, Liverpool climbed to fourth place with 15 points collected to one less than the third-ranked Brighton.
