On October 26th, readers are invited to become part of the promotion of the book Civilisation Stories, at an evening dedicated to literature, ideas and unusual views.
Dukaagjini Library organises on October 26th, Monday at 6:00, in its spaces at the Mother Teresa Square in Pristina, promotion and discussion of author Mimoza Ahmeti’s Civilisation Stories.
Through a series of short stories, Ahmeti builds a literary universe where editorship meets with the philosophy, irony, and critical observation of society. The book’s characters and situations serve as a starting point to explore topics that affect contemporary man: relationships, identity, technology, success, freedom and the way we build the meaning of reality.
With a style that combines play with language, abstract thought, and unexpected situations, Civilization Stories invites readers to look beyond the surface and reexamine their beliefs about the world around them. The accounts do not always offer ready answers; rather, they open room for reflection, interpretation, and discussion.
Promovation is an opportunity for readers to get closer to the author’s work and creative world and to share interest in literature that promotes curiosity and challenges opinion.
Dukaagnin Library invites all book lovers to join this literary meeting October 26, at 6: 00 p.m., at the library in Néna Teresa Square, Pristina.
