Kosovo police have cancelled the procurement activity for renting static chairs, which were meant to be used at the graduation ceremony of the 63rd generation of police cadets.
According to the document, the decision to cancel the tender was taken on November 4th 2026, while two economic operators had participated in this procurement activity.
As a reason for the annulment has been selected legal provisions that envision the annulment of the procurement activity. However, additional clarifications have not been given in the official announcement concerning the concrete reasons that led to this decision.
Meanwhile, the graduation ceremony of the 63rd generation 412 cadets has been warned to be held Friday, November 6th, at 16:30.
This ceremony was originally scheduled for October 30th, but was postponed due to lack of uniforms and equipment needed for the cadets.
The problems with supplies have not stopped. During this week, due to the lack of hats, police officials were required to borrow them for the cadets so that they could be used during the ceremony.
The tender approval for chairs comes just a day before the warned ceremony, adding questions about the graduation organisation of the new generation of Kosovo Police.
