A photograph provided by police, where you see a young man holding a long gun, allegedly AK-47, has led investigators in Gjakova to launch a criminal case and search the home of the person who appeared in the photo.
Signal sources suggest the case relates to a young man born in 2008 from the village of Skivjan of Gjakova, to which investigative actions have been conducted for allegedly unauthorized possession of weapons have been conducted.
According to information provided by the signal, the photograph had arrived at the investigation unit through operational routes. There was a person in it holding a long gun, which has raised doubt that it could be AK-47.
After securing the photograph, investigators have taken action to clarify the case and identify the weapon.
On October 21, 2026, the suspect was interviewed in the presence of a defense attorney.
During the interview, he denied possession of the weapon seen in the photograph.
After his statement, police have searched the house and escort facilities, with the consent of the property owner.
But control has not resulted in finding a weapon. According to police information, nothing other illegal has been found during the search.
All actions have been taken in consultation with the State Attorney.
After the police proceedings were completed, the suspect has been released in regular procedure.
