After 15 years, an indictment arises against former partner Diana Kastrati

On October 22nd this year, the Constitutional Prosecutor in Pristina has filed charges of trial in absentia against the former late partner, Diana Kastrati, who was killed on 18 May 2011. The news has confirmed the prosecution’s spokeswoman, Kaltrin Shala.

The accident in absentia has been raised after the accused was in Spain and Kosovo authorities had encountered obstacles to his extradition, because Spain does not recognise Kosovo’s citizenship. According to the indictment in 18.05.2011, A. J had deprived Diana of her life in the middle of the road by hitting her with guns around her neck, at the crossroads of the streets of Haxhi Zekaão, and very well in Pristina. Regarding the establishment of the indictment, the Kastrati family legal representative Korab Sejdiu has announced.
