A vehicle that had ended at the end of Weyman Lake in October 2025 was released today after a joint operation by the Kosovo Police and other institutions.
According to the Police report, the action started at around 10:00, while the vehicle was identified and pulled out of the lake at 12:40.
Police specialised units, the National Peace Research Team, Emergency Management Agency and the Diversation Club justly participated in the operation.
Police have announced that the intervention was possible following the decreased water level and served as training for members of the institutions involved.
The case was reported on October 14, 2025 by the owner of the vehicle, who had claimed that the car parked near the lake, under unclear circumstances, had fallen into the water.
After the extraction, the vehicle has been handed over to the rightful owner.
