The jubilee edition of Albanian Up Comedy Festival will be held this Saturday, October 31st, in Zurich, Switzerland. Organiser Ridvan Murati tells Telegrafi that preparations for this event have started since February, while tickets have been sold two months before the festival.
Albanian Up Comedy Festival is gearing up for the fifth edition of Jubillar, which is expected to gather more than 1,600 people in Zurich, Switzerland, on an evening that will bring about mood, music and the Albanian community in the diaspora.
On the eve of this event, Telegrafi has conducted an interview with the festival actor and organiser Ridvan Murati, who has shared his emotions about this anniversary, talked about recent preparations and uncovered some of the surprises that will accompany this year’s programme.

Murati says the festival’s journey has been a special experience, as what started as an experiment has gradually turned into an important cultural event for Albanians in Switzerland.
Endition after edition, we have already reached the fifth jubilee of Albania’s Up Comedy Festival and we can say that this year we have fivefold emotions, because our journey from an experiment in the main cultural event of Albanians in Switzerland makes us proud of this achievement, he says of Telegrafi.
For organisers, this jubilee marks not only five years of work and dedication, but also evidence that an uncertainly launched project can be transformed into an important tradition for the Albanian community abroad.
Preparations for this year’s edition have started much earlier than could be imagined. According to Murati, the team has started working since the early days of February, making sure that every detail of the festival is organised until the grand evening.
By being already aware of the effect, importance and travel of Albanian Up, we as festival leaders have felt obliged not to leave anything to the case, Murati says, adding that they are more than satisfied with the provisional preparations so far.

One of the most important indicators of public interest, according to him, is the fact that tickets were sold two months before the festival’s observance date. For organisers, this result is evidence that the team’s work and commitment are being rewarded.
For this Yubilar edition, organisers have decided that the festival will take place again on a single night. In response to intense interest, the capacity of the hall has also increased, while expectations are for more than 1,600 people to attend the event.
As far as surprises are concerned, Murati warns a programme uniting popular Albanian and Swiss humor names, including live music.
The Bephases have begun with the programme, once again inviting the cream of Albanian and Swiss comedians, and continuing with special gifts, where, in the postpartey public will accompany the legendary Albanian rock band Elita 550, he discovers.

Thus, the fifth edition will be not only a happy evening but also a common party where the public will be able to laugh, celebrate, and sing together with favorite artists.
In the end, Murati dedicates this exactly to the Albanian public in the diaspora, which he considers the main supporter of the festival since the first edition.
This whole holiday and organization are devoted exclusively to the Albanian public in the diaspora, because it was those who believed, magnified and increased this festival, always being loyal and close to us in any edition. Thank you, he’s done.
After five editions, Albanian Up Comedy Festival aims to mark this jubilee with a special evening, witnessing once again the importance of humor and culture as bridges that unite Albanians in the diaspora. /Telegraphy/
