A citizen from Decani has experienced moments of fear on Sunday, as during the gathering of flowers near a peak over the village of Poburga, he has faced a large bear, which appeared at a very close distance.
Sadie Tolaj, through a Facebook post, showed that the bear appeared about 20 feet [10 m] from him and that of a family member who were gathering straws.
According to his confession, the family member, located some seven to eight feet [seven to eight m] away, announced the presence of the bear. Frightened by the situation, they decided to run through a stream.
We ran for about 20 minutes and, fortunately, the bear did not follow. We escaped without consequences!
After that, he has warned citizens who come out to collect flowers in this region to show increased care and avoid going to mountainous areas alone.
