A 60-year-old from Gostivar allegedly over a long period of time forced his 80-year-old mother, who moves in a wheelchair, to beg on the street, while the money provided was taken away for his needs.
According to the police report, on November 6, 2026, the National Unit for Printing of Trafficking in Emigrants and Trafficking in People has filed criminal charges against the person with the initial N.N. (60), from Gostivar, under suspicion of committing criminal acts of human trafficking.

At the order of the Constitutional Criminal Court in Skopje, police have conducted raids on the home and other premises of the suspect in Gostivar, where he is deprived of freedom.
Mobile phones and money allegedly stem from the commission of criminal work during the raid have been temporarily seized.
