Oil derivative prices in Kosovo continue to be high.
Today, at gas stations in Pristina, a litre of oil is being sold for 1.90 euros, gasoline for 1.63 euros, while diesel plus costs 1.92 euros per litre.
The increase in derivative prices began in February 2026, following the outbreak of war in the Middle East.
In early March, oil cost between 1.15 and 1.25 euros per litre, while in April the price reached 1.89 euros. During this period, the Ministry of Industry, Undertaking and Trade had set ceiling prices for fuels, a move that was removed in early September.
After several fluctuations over the following months, in September the price of oil reached between 1.95 and 1.97 euros per litre, while gasoline cost about 1.65 euros.
